Solid Bronze and Corian…

Although we would like to take credit for the beautiful sculpture above we can’t, that has to go sculptor Charles Hadcock. Charles approached us to ask if we could construct a base for his artwork that would be able to support the half ton weight of the cast bronze. We engineered a solid internal structure to take the massive weight and then faced this in Corian Warm Grey which looks very similar to a smooth concrete.  Three milled blocks from stacked layers of Corian were shaped to the curve of the sculpture to position it on the surface of the plinth.
