Corian at the heart Home Cinema…

We were commissioned to manufacture this bespoke HI-FI unit for a client, they had supplied us with a rough sketch that we turned into a working 3D model. From this we were then able to create all of the formers required for thermoforming.

Corian Glacier White was used for the outer skin; created in two formed sections of solid surface they were joined together then a front section was bonded to this. The doors were made from a solid 12mm thick sheet of Corian, special hinges were used to fix the doors to the cabinet. The internal cabinet was made from a beech veneered MDF that was then finished with a clear lacquer. We can not only manufacture custom tv units but also any enclosure for audio visual equipment even speaker surrounds.
