Dining pleasure…

This beautiful table was designed for a private client in South Wales, they approached us after seeing some of the unique pieces of furniture we have made in the past. Initially drawn to the idea of a central sculptural pedestal design but with limited space around the table we came up with this design, mixing the traditional four corner legs with the sculptural style of a pedestal base. The central timbers also support the 15mm thick low iron glass top, weighing in at an impressive 120kg. As the table was deigned in 3D CAD software we were able to accurately machine out the various parts, and then painstakingly join each piece together by hand. The Oak was finished in OSMO Wood Wax Raw, giving a protective finish without changing the oaks natural colour.
