It’s not a Canoe!

This LG HI-MACS Alpine White display is over 3 metres in length and the canoe inspired shape was designed by interior designer Bernard Carroll. We made the shape from four separate sections of thermoformed HIMACS, the seams had to be structurally reinforced due to the weight that the bowl would be holding. Our stainless steel fabricator installed a bespoke drip tray to catch and remove the ice as it melts. The two column legs are made from single sections of 9mm HIMACSthat were formed around MDF formers.

 

This fresh fish display is a key feature of the Italian restaurant San Carlo, Leeds. Freshly caught fish and fruit are displayed on the bowl each day adding to the attractiveness of the design.
